The Central Drug Research Institute
(CDRI) was
established under the Council
of Scientific & Industrial
Research, an autonomous registered
Society of the Government of
India, as a centre of excellence
dedicated to drug research.
The
scientific achievements
and capabilities of
CDRI have been largely
appreciated. The nation
witnessed the momentous
occasion of the fruitful
achievements of CDRI
when in 1987, the then
Prime minister of India,
Mr. Rajeev Gandhi released
four drugs developed
by this Institute. Since
then CDRI has never
looked back. Click for more
